Crosslinks

.

Crosslinks is a mission agency whose aim to promote and enable “making disciples of all nations” by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Founded in 1922 as the Bible Churchmen’s Missionary Society, Crosslinks now serve and support over 1,000 UK churches, in their partnership with missionaries in 25 countries around the world.  They primarily operate within the worldwide Anglican Communion.

We a have recently committed to supporting Crosslinks mission partner, Katy, who many will have met at the April Celebration Service and lunch.

Katy has now arrived in India, where she is working with a church in Dehli.  Her role will involve providing basic education and life skills for poor children, teaching the Bible, building relationships with the wider community and taking every opportunity to point others to Christ.

In a recent email to us in Whimple Katy writes:

I am so glad I was able to come and meet you all, it was a privilege.  It really is a great encouragement and strength to me to know that you are praying, and indeed, the Lord is answering prayers.   He is my ongoing strength, my peace and delight, and opening doors to relationships as well as practical arrangements.  In the midst of all the change, it is wonderful to know his faithfulness.   I have had a great first few days and think I have found a flat!  Will let you know more in due course…
Yours in Christ,

See latest newsletter at back of church, with news of how Katy is getting on, and with prayer requests.
